is back in my system and I am a happy camper. That first cup after what seemed like forever was amazing.

A lot of people asked me if I would give up coffee permanently and my answer was no. I may be somewhat of a coffee addict but I’m okay with that.

Some thing I’ve noticed now that my fast is over is that drinking coffee isn’t the same anymore. That may sound weird but it is different. I’m reminded of the sacrifice I made and the fact that there are more important things in the world than coffee. Now don’t get me wrong…coffee was never a major priority. I mean if I ever had to choose between Jesus and coffee obviously Jesus would win (although I prefer both ;).

I guess that’s the cool thing about seriously fasting and focusing on Him. I’m not trying to toot my own horn…I’m just saying that there were some life altering implications because of what I learned during Lent.

More to come I’m sure…
